Greenends Gulley, Eyemouth

My more capable camera let me down (again!) so it was down to my faithful Olympus 1030 and Sea and Sea strobe. A recurring problem is that the cameras own strobe illuminates the particles in front of the lens by passing through the polycarbonate housing and causing backscatter. The external strobe is on a short flexi arm and hence quite close to the lens thus exacerbating the backscatter. The best shots of the day were close to the surface with the strobe turned off and plenty of ambient light. I should have turned the shoot mode to macro to sharpen the image. You live and learn.
